Crown of Exile » Devlog
New to this update 👑
📜Story:
- The entire Chapter One.
- Meet Prince Irus.
- Say goodbye to your past and Salt Bay.
- Come face to face with the Blood Guard.
- Encounter the dangerous General of the Blood Guard.
- Meet a magnificent steed.
- Flee.
- Flee some more.
- Come across an ancient temple.
- Flirt, bicker or be nice to Irus.
- Learn about Prince Irus' past and family.
- Pray to a god or wish on a star.
- Set off towards the kingdom of Vinia.
🎮Technical stuff:
- Added in a dark theme for those who scoff at brightness.
- Added in volume slider because who needs music, am I right?
- Added in trigger warnings for the start of each chapter.
🔜Still to do:
- Adding more customisation (hair texture options, styling etc).
- Expanding and editing Irus scenes.
- Adding character info and portraits to the character page.
- Possibly adding in more themes.
- Implementing player suggestions.
The game should be fully playable, but I'm very sure that you might encounter bugs and other weird errors since there were a lot of variables to keep track of. I'm not quite happy with how the Irus scenes turned out, so I will be going back and tweaking and adding in more text to them.
If you do spot a bug or error do let me know either on the game page comments or on my Tumblr.

Thanks for adding the volume slider. Oddly, it seems like it only works on about 5% of the slider (the left-most part), with the rest of it doing nothing at all, but I'm not sure if that's just a problem for me.
I did make the volume automatically lower than normal so that might be why it seems to work that way. I tested it out and it worked fine for me, though I think I'll reset the volume to its full volume so the slider should work better then. Thank you for playing 😊
